Years ago all cabinetry was built
on site by the local craftsman
that was constructing the
house. The customer wanted
more options and materials than
were available on site, and so
the cabinet shop came into
existence.
Today there are many options to
obtain cabinets for your new or
existing home. Many people are
choosing to increase the value
of their home with custom
cabinets. Not only does custom
cabinetry add to the value of
your home, but you also have to
opportunity to “live” with and
appreciate this great value in
your home.
Early in CWP’s history, kitchen
cabinets was a large part of the
business. With the freedom and
opportunity in design of high end
furniture, CWP started to do
more furniture. As the list of
satisfied customers who had
gorgeous pieces of handcrafted
CWP furniture in their home
grew, more customers were
coming back to CWP to make
cabinets for their home.
“It is very exciting and
satisfying,” says John, the
owner of CWP, “to have a
customer feel that they are a
large part of the whole design
process, and to have them come
back to us for additional work”.
CWP uses only top quality
materials in their cabinets.
Particle board is not used.
Instead CWP uses maple or
birch veneer plywood on the
inside of the cabinets. All
drawers are made out of
dovetailed solid maple with a
choice of easy rolling drawer
slides (some even close
themselves!). Glass doors,
lights, turned legs, carved
corbels and sliding storage
racks are just a few of today’s
options available to the
designer. Remember, statistics
show that on average you get
more value out of your home
when you sell it than you put into
your kitchen & bathroom
cabinets.
Give CWP an opportunity to give
you a quote on your cabinet
needs by calling for an
appointment, or just drop off a
floor plan if you have one.
